Tips on How to Share Motherhood with Your Blog Audience

As a mom, sometimes you feel like all of your social media posts are about parenting. You might even thought to buy backlinks to expand your reach with other mothers like you. After all, it’s such an important and meaningful part of our lives. We’ve put together this list of tips that will help you find balance and stay inspired as a mom who wants to share more than just motherhood on her blog.

Be realistic in your goals

As a mom, it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly juggling too many responsibilities and not taking care of yourself. One tip on how to share motherhood with your blog audience is to be realistic in your goals. If you know that you won’t have time for a new post every day, then don’t commit to doing so! Give yourself time and space for other things in your life and remember that the occasional post is better than not posting at all.

Create boundaries

Our time is precious and it’s important not to overcommit. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, figure out what responsibilities can be delegated or outsourced. For example, if you have a day-to-day job outside of blogging, think about outsourcing social media so you can spend more time on your blog.

Recognize your emotions

One of the biggest challenges of motherhood is recognizing our emotions. Dealing with a bunch of different tasks make you feel so overwhelmed easily.

When this happens, it’s important to take a step back and remember that it’s just temporary. This is not permanent! And feeling frustrated or guilt won’t do anything either. It might be helpful to just draw a line under it and move on.

Write about more than just motherhood

While it’s important to share the realities of motherhood, we don’t want to be preachy or sound like we’re ungrateful for what we have. Check out what you can do to help.

  • It’s okay if you don’t post about motherhood every day.
  • You can share pictures of your kids on social media without mentioning them in the caption.
  • Share your thoughts on motherhood, but give other people a chance to share their thoughts too!
