State Perinatal Advisory Boards & Committees

The State Perinatal Advisory Board convened and maintained by IPN continues to be an effective partnership of more than 70 key individuals and organizations impacting perinatal care throughout the state. For more than a decade, this diverse and broad-based group of individuals has functioned as an important advisory and consensus-building group to address a wide range of perinatal issues.

State Perinatal Advisory Board and Subcommittees:

  • Form IPN's advisory and consensus building group.
  • Include representatives from all perinatal related constituencies, for example: the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), nurse midwives, county health departments, community outreach workers and payers from all geographic regions of the state.
  • Subcommittees of the State Perinatal Advisory Board address specific perinatal issues, resulting in consensus documents, statewide conferences, pilot projects and more.
